Overview
This conference is tailored to the front-line healthcare providers. This includes primary care physicians in family medicine and pediatrics, physical therapists, athletic trainers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, resident physicians, medical students, and other trainees. Because pediatric musculoskeletal extremity injuries are common medical problems encountered by these healthcare providers, they would benefit from having high confidence and competence in these conditions. This conference is aimed at improving the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of our community of healthcare providers by presenting a multidisciplinary approach to managing sports and exercise-related injuries that are specific to young athletes.
