Overview
This meeting will provide participants with a state-of-the-art framework for diagnosis and treatment of people with encephalitis and meningitis from autoimmune and infectious causes.
Target Audience
Practicing neurologists, psychiatrists, primary care and hospitalist clinicians and all other clinicians / advanced practitioners with an interest in caring for people with meningoencephalitis
Objectives
- Participants will be able to identify and describe autoimmune and infectious causes of meningitis and encephalitis
- Develop an approach to managing patients with classic and less typical phenotypes of meningoencephalitis
- Compare and contrast classic methodologies with the latest technological advances for diagnosis of meningoencephalitis
- Develop a framework for incorporating intersections between neurology, psychiatry and oncology in encephalitis
