Overview
The field of Women’s Imaging brings together practitioners of Radiology, Obstetrics, Gynecology and other medical specialties who share a common interest and passion in providing diagnostic services and care unique to women’s health. This course is designed to strengthen diagnostic imaging skills, enhance clinical practice and deepen one’s knowledge of many current issues in gynecologic and fetal imaging with the intent of improving patient care. Over the 3 ½ day course we hope to provide a respite from the day-to-day work as a clinician by incorporating educational content with wellness exercises and gastronomical and viticultural delights.
Nestled amid Beringer Vineyards just minutes from downtown St. Helena, Alila Napa Valley is an adult-only retreat designed to immerse guests in wine country's charm and splendor.
Core concepts, practical applications, appropriate indications and diagnostic pearls will be highlighted with an emphasis on timely and accurate diagnoses and impact on outcome. Future directions and controversial topics will also be addressed.
Topics to be covered include maternal-fetal medicine, infertility, O-RADS, postmenopausal bleeding, endometriosis, high-risk pregnancy, infertility, first trimester lexicon terminology, performance standards, and benign, malignant, and emergency gynecologic conditions.
