Rheumatology Board Review and Clinical Update 2026 - Course Instructions

We look forward to your participation in the Rheumatology Board Review and Clinical Update, being held in a hybrid format on August 20 – 22, 2026!

Please read below for some details related to your attendance, and please note that all course materials will be available for access through November 4, 2026 9pm PST/midnight EST.

 


Accessing All Course Materials

Access all the above course material via the course website after the course begins on August 20, 2026.

  1. Login to CloudCME with the same information you used to register for the course.
  2. Visit the course website: https://ucsf.cloud-cme.com/rheum26
  3. Click on the gray “Course Content” tab, and then the yellow “Access Course Materials” button.

Additional Notes:

  • ClassMarker login instructions for the question banks were sent directly by the platform to the email you registered for the course with. If you did not receive the email or have any issues with accessing ClassMarker, please email course co-chair Dr. Lianne Gensler at [email protected].
  • Please note that only slides which are received and authorized to publish are posted to the Course Content website. Not every lecture will have a slide deck available.
  • Recordings will be uploaded by Friday, 8/28/26.

Evaluation/Credit Claiming Process

Attendees must log in to the UCSF CloudCME Portal to complete the Course Evaluation to claim CME/CEU credits.

In accordance with ACCME guidelines, attendees must log in to the live course to claim credit for attending and should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

You will have until November 4, 2026 to claim your credit earned.  You can only submit your evaluation once, and we recommend you wait until you have watched all the pre-recorded lectures to submit your evaluations for credit.

Attendees should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Upon completing the Course Evaluation, your CME certificate will be automatically generated to print and a copy is also emailed to you. You will also see your credits recorded in your transcript in your CloudCME Account.

  • Click on the yellow “My CME” tab to access the course evaluation, certificate, and transcript. You can ignore the “Claim Credit” tile as this tile is not applicable to this course – to claim credit, you must complete the course evaluation that is found in the yellow “Evaluations & Certificates” tile.
  • You will be awarded credits based on the profession and licensing information included in your profile.
  • The evaluation will be available until November 4, 2026 for this course, and you MUST complete the Course Evaluation within this time period in order to receive credit for the activity. You can only submit your evaluation once, and we recommend you wait until you have watched all the pre-recorded lectures to submit your evaluations for credit.
  • The Course Evaluation includes daily speaker evaluations which are available at the end of each day. We recommend completing these at the end of each day to avoid evaluation fatigue. The overall Course Evaluation will be available at the end of the course. You can only submit your evaluation once, and we recommend you wait until you have watched all the pre-recorded lectures to submit your evaluations for credit.

Virtual Attendees – Specific Information

  1. Login to CloudCME with the same information you used to register for the course.

  3. Click on the gray “Course Content” tab, and then the yellow “Access Course Materials” button.
  4. Click on the blue “Join Live Webinar” button in the left hand toolbar to access the live Zoom webinar.

The lectures begin at 8:00am Pacific Standard Time (PST) each day, and registered attendees will be admitted from the waiting room at 7:50am PST. If you log-in before that time you will enter the waiting room until we start.

In accordance with ACCME guidelines, attendees must log in to the live course to claim credit for attending and should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Q&A and Chat Features in Zoom Webinar

Please use the Q&A feature to submit your questions to the speakers and the CHAT feature for technical assistance.

Please note: This meeting is enabled for the new webinar Q&A. To participate in Q&A, the participants and attendees must use Zoom version 5.17.0 or newer, or join via web browser.

The conference is being held in the Robertson Auditorium, on the 2nd floor of the Mission Bay Conference Center.

Course Hours/Meals

  • Registration/check in, continental breakfast, and exhibitor booths will open at 7:15am PST each day.
  • Course lectures begin at 8:00am PST each day.
  • Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks will be provided for coffee breaks.
  • Lunch will be provided for attendees on Thursday and Friday.

Transportation and Parking

The garage connected to the conference center is called the Community Center Garage. Their daily rate is $35/day and is subject to change.

Attire & Weather

There is no specific dress code for the course, so we suggest wearing what you are most comfortable in at a professional educational event. San Francisco is known for its microclimates so the temperature can span a 10-degree difference depending on where you are in the city. We highly recommend layered clothing as a great way to keep comfortable in all situations!

Suggested Items to Bring

  • A laptop or pen/paper for taking notes
  • A reusable water bottle or tumbler and a thermos for hot beverages
  • Layered clothing
