Overview

This conference centers on the interface between obstetrics, gynecology, and psychiatry, with national experts on diverse topics that include the role of climate change on reproductive mental health, integrative approaches to perimenopause, treatment of ADHD in perinatal populations, obstetrical challenges for Latinex populations, and more. This year’s conference is back in person at the brand new Pritzker Building at UCSF Mission Bay for community building and networking over lunch.

Target Audience
The course is designed for all clinicians who work in women's reproductive health, including physicians (OB, family medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry), midwives, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, and social workers among others.

Objectives

  • Apply knowledge of new treatment options for perimenopausal patients
  • Recognize the role of climate change in reproductive decisions and incorporate this knowledge into patient assessments
  • Apply an awareness of bias in my practice, and recognize opportunities for change in systemic gaps in care for non-white patients
  • Utilize evidence-based knowledge for the treatment of ADHD in perinatal populations
  • Use new knowledge gained in this course to my practice
  • Add topics in psychoeducation to patient/family care
